A replacement for the standard cap that comes packaged with Francois Louis Ligatures. Designed to fit around the beak of the mouthpiece without going around the ligature itself. Because of this it can be used with virtually any ligature! 

The inside of the cap is also fitted with a felt pad, to help regulate the humidity of the reed when left on the mouthpiece for short periods of time: 

• When in a dry environment: Lightly moisten the pad with water. 
• When in a humid environment: Leave the pad as it is.
