
Vandoren Carbon Ligature for Alto Saxophone
Vandoren are bringing us a new ligature made from a material that is out of this world!
Imagined and made by Vandoren, crossing a centenary of know-how and progress at the leading edge of innovation, the new “Carbon” ligature encourages the transmission of acoustic energy by limiting losses due to parasitic vibrations!
The Carbon ligature, due to its lightness, will not interfere with the reed’s vibration and will have only one role, to hold the reed on the mouthpiece.
- A carbon fiber ligature that is long lasting, durable and reliable
- With regards to sound, this ligature removes all of its own influence and allows for the reed to vibrate naturally
- The harmonic spectrum is pure, full, and perfectly homogeneous in all the registers
- An optimal sound projection

Sizing Guide
This ligature is designed to fit on all of Vandoren's own Alto Saxophone mouthpieces, but it should fit on a range of other hard rubber mouthpieces as well.
